Press release on the outcome of the meeting between the PM and the Ambassador of the EU to the Kingdom of Cambodia
On 28 August 2023, the spokesperson of the Prime Minister’s Office issued a press release on the results of the meeting between His Excellency Dr. Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Her Excellency Maria Dal Carmen Moreno EU Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, completing her diplomatic mission in Cambodia.
Cambodia and the European Union are committed to further promoting and enhancing closer cooperation, as well as expanding the direction of cooperation in the priority areas of the Royal Government, especially in the areas of skills training, health, and public functions Which is an important task of sustainable development. The Prime Minister also requested that the EU continue to consider supporting and financing the “Multi-annual Indicative Programme (MIP) 2021-2027” Phase II to facilitate Cambodia’s trade and exports to the EU market.
